About this program
Walden's online RN-to-MSN Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track lets registered nurses with a diploma, associate degree or non-nursing bachelor's degree earn an MSN without a separate BSN. It is 89 quarter credits: 26 RN foundational credits at $435 per quarter credit plus 63 MSN credits at $785, including 640 supervised practicum hours, and up to 40 transfer credits may be accepted. The MSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, reaffirmed for 10 years through December 31, 2030. Walden cannot enroll residents of Louisiana, Oklahoma or Oregon in any nurse practitioner specialization, or Arizona residents in PMHNP.
