CNA
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic care to patients who are unable to care for themselves. CNAs often work with patients in a nursing home, hospice, or long-term care setting.
LPN
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with doctors and registered nurses to care for patients and monitor treatments. LPNs can work with patients in many settings including nursing homes, extended care facilities, hospitals, physicians’ offices, and private homes.
RN
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides hands-on patient care and works with the health care team to provide the best course of treatment. RNs can work in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, medical offices, nursing homes, and other facilities.
