About this program
Walden University's online Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Primary Care specialization prepares nurses for advanced practice and practice-doctorate leadership. Walden's DNP has a BSN-to-DNP entry track and an MSN-to-DNP entry track, both requiring an active RN license. Graduates complete at least 1,000 post-BSN practicum hours, with at least 400 at the DNP level. Coursework is $960 per quarter credit plus a $185 quarterly program fee. The DNP is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Walden cannot enroll residents of Louisiana, Oklahoma or Oregon in any nurse practitioner specialization, or Nevada residents in PNP.
