About this program
South College – Dallas launched its Associate of Science in Nursing with a first cohort beginning October 2025, following approval from the Texas Board of Nursing. Offered at the Farmers Branch campus, the program develops registered-nursing competencies through simulation labs — including high-fidelity manikins used before live-patient practice — and clinical placements across the DFW area to prepare students for the NCLEX-RN. The ASN became a candidate for ACEN accreditation effective November 10, 2025.
