Graduates need at least 1,000 post-baccalaureate practice hours. Applicants need a nursing master's degree with a 3.0 GPA from a CCNE-, ACEN- or CNEA-accredited program, and bachelor's-prepared nurses enter through the MSN-DNP path instead. The DNP is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Residents of Hawaii, Louisiana, New York, Tennessee, Utah and Washington may not enroll.
