About this program
Fortis Institute's hybrid Practical Nursing program in Port St. Lucie provides the theory, laboratory and clinical experience needed for an entry-level position as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with graduates sitting for the NCLEX-PN. Working certified nursing assistants with 40 hours of practice in the preceding two months are eligible for transfer credit for previous nursing coursework.
