About this program
The College of Health Care Professions Nursing (LVN to ADN) Associate of Applied Science is an LVN-to-RN transition program offered exclusively at the Houston Northwest campus in a blended (online plus on-campus) format. In approximately 20 months (as few as 80 weeks), it combines classroom instruction, simulation and skills labs, and clinical rotations, preparing licensed vocational nurses to apply for and sit for the NCLEX-RN for Texas RN licensure. Approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.
