About this program
Georgetown's traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four-year program in which students begin hands-on clinical training in their first year. The curriculum grounds students in clinical skills, the biological, physical and social sciences, and nursing theory, with clinical placements across Washington-region health systems and community-based organizations and simulation training at the O'Neill Family Foundation Clinical Simulation Center. All BSN students complete an evidence-based project in their final year, and a senior practicum provides one-on-one precepted experience. A BSN Honors Program allows selected students to pursue scholarly inquiry into a contemporary clinical practice issue over three semesters.
