• Delivery Formats for Nursing Programs:
• Wake Tech offers Traditional (100% in-person), Online (100% online), Hybrid (more than 50% online), Blended (50% or less online), and Hybrid Flexible (HyFlex) formats across its degree, diploma, and certificate programs. HyFlex courses allow delivery of the online portion synchronously, asynchronously, or both, provided 100% of instruction is also offered face-to-face—students may choose to attend either mode on a session-by-session basis.
• All nursing programs (Associate Degree Nursing and Advanced Placement AAS) adhere to the same quality and instructional standards regardless of delivery mode.
• Online Learning Support:
• Wake Tech facilitates two online learning options—fully online and hybrid/blended courses—for flexibility not possible in traditional, seated classes. These courses are comparable in outcomes to in-person classes.
• Students in online/hybrid formats must complete a Course Entry Quiz early in the term (within the first 10%) or, in hybrid, physically attend early in the term to stay enrolled.
