• For Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), a minimum 2.5 GPA in science prerequisite courses is required for admission. Required prerequisite courses include Human Anatomy, General Microbiology, Human Physiology, Nutrition, The Person in the Life Cycle, English Composition, Introduction to Public Speaking, Introduction to Sociology, Algebra II, and Introduction to Psychology.

• For the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) program, admission is based on a multi-criteria point system including GPAs in relevant coursework:
• Science GPA (A&P, Anatomy & Physiology) and non-science GPA (such as “The Person in the Life Cycle,” Nutrition, Intro to Psychology) must each be at least 2.5 to be eligible to apply; lower GPAs (below 2.5) render applicants ineligible.
• Higher GPAs earn more points:

• – 3.25–3.49 = 15 points
