Format

Schedule and format at Gateway Community and Technical College

• The Nursing program follows a two-day-per-week on‑campus schedule, plus the assigned clinical day, for Levels 1–4.
• For Levels 2–4, specialty courses (Behavioral Health, Maternal Newborn, Pediatrics) are offered in a hybrid format—meaning part of these courses are online and part are in-person. However, lecture and lab still occur during the same two on‑campus days used for Medical/Surgical courses.
• The program schedule is designed to support balance between college, working part‑time, and personal responsibilities, indicating a level of flexibility in scheduling.
