Format

Schedule and format at Auburn University College of Nursing

• Undergraduate (BSN, Traditional, Concurrent, RN‑BSN):
• Lower‑division (pre‑nursing) coursework may be taken during the day or evenings, and students may begin any semester; full‑time study can complete lower division in two years, but part‑time attendance is permitted.
• Once admitted to the upper‑division (professional) program, courses must be taken in sequence; typical schedule: classes two days/week, clinical two to three days/week, totaling 30–40 hours per week, mostly during the day.
• Summer school enrollment is allowed to adjust the plan of study in lower division.
