About this program
The College of Health Care Professions Vocational Nursing (LVN) Certificate Program at the Houston Northwest campus pairs classroom instruction with laboratory practice and supervised clinical rotations across pharmacology, medical-surgical, growth and development, and mental health nursing. Aligned with the Texas Board of Nursing Differentiated Essential Competencies, it can be completed in as few as 48 weeks (about 11 months) and qualifies graduates to sit for the NCLEX-PN for licensure as an LVN in Texas.
